Liverpool City Council is launching a new pop-up event series designed to encourage the community to get together to enjoy an after-work drink, grab a bite to eat and enjoy live music with friends and colleagues.
Funded by the NSW Government, Love Livo Nights will be held from 5 pm – 8 pm at a new Liverpool CBD location on the first Thursday of every month – with the first event kicking off this coming Spring.
Liverpool Mayor Wendy Waller said the Council’s pop-up event series would enhance the city’s cultural landscape and provide working professionals, residents, students and visitors with a unique evening experience.
“Love Livo Nights is a great opportunity to mingle with colleagues and friends after work,” Liverpool Mayor Wendy Waller said.
“The pop-up series will showcase our city’s streetscapes by moving to a new laneway for each event, helping to establish a vibrant night-time economy in the heart of Liverpool.
The first Love Livo Nights will be held on Thursday 5 September from 5 pm – 8 pm, in the 35 Scott Street laneway, with food, drinks and décor inspired by izakaya’s, small bars common throughout Japan.
